Let's keep this short:

I am an American living overseas (currently live in the Italian city of Torino also know as Turin). I am in my early 30s, male, gay, and I am normally a nocturnal being by nature (an ex-boss compared me to a vampire as I was working the graveyard shift). Culturally I am a hybrid, having a mixed blood background (Native American/”Brit Mutt”

, grew up in a small town/rural setting (in Montana) and I have spent much of my adult life in cities (Salt Lake City, UT; Las Vegas, NV; Athens, Greece; Torino, Italy).

Sigh, don't you just hate it when parts go AWOL?

Three years ago, I purchased a nice little digital camera. It's nothing special, just your basic consumer Kodak point and shoot with a decent optical zoom. However for the past couple of years, it's been collecting dust in one of my boxes. Why? Because its data cable is among the missing. Sure, I could pop out the memory card however I don't have a card reader nor do I have the spare cash to buy one (I can't even afford a soda right now). I keep seeing all kinds of things I would like to get some pictures of (Turin is full of old industrial sites that just screen "photography!". Plus I would look to get some pictures of myself as I simply don't have much in the way of self portraits.

I used to own a wonderful old Canon FTb 35mm camera that was older than me. However one day in Greece, it too went AWOL. I still have the camara's zoom lens, however the camera body and the short lens I used for close up work disappeared without a trace.
